DR. JIM BOHRER

Senior Pastor

Pastor Jim has been the senior pastor at Hope Community since 1999.  He is committed to preaching the Bible for understanding and life application, and he also wants to see the church become a vital part of the community.  

 

Pastor Jim earned his doctorate from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and served with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association before coming to Hope.

 

Jim and his wife Sarah have four adult and college-age children.  He enjoys playing UTSA League tennis and won a national team title in 2021.  Jim is an avid Star Wars and sci-fi fan. 

ERIC PRICE

Life Groups & Discipleship Minister

Eric joined the staff as our discipleship minister in 2025.  Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Psychology from Brewton-Parker College.  Eric has also worked with Eternal Truth Ministries since 2008.  Eric leads and nurtures our church's small group ministry with a strong emphasis on spiritual growth and discipleship.  He is focused on equipping leaders and fostering a community where individuals can grow in faith, deepen relationships, and live out the gospel together.

 

Eric & his wife Ellen live in Brownsburg.   Eric enjoys spending time out on his boat, trying out new restaurants, and has an unusual love for Heinz ketchup.

SARAH BOHRER

Worship Ministry Leader

Sarah has been Hope's Worship leader since 1999.  

 

Sarah has earned her Bachelor of Music from Colorado State University and Master of Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  She is an elementary school music teacher in the Pike school district.  

 

Sarah and her husband, Jim have four adult & college-age children.  Sarah enjoys spending time with friends and playing pickleball.

JANNA CLEGG

Ministry Assistant/Office Manager

Janna serves as Hope's office manager and provides administrative assistance to our ministry staff.  Janna holds a visual communications degree from Ivy Tech.

 

Janna and her husband Jeff have two children and 5 grandchildren. Janna enjoys travel, photography, concerts and enjoys a wide range of music.
