We are now hiring

Hope and Joy Academy is now hiring full-time, part-time, and substitute positions.  Positions are available in the babies, toddlers, and pre-school.  A position in food service is also available.   Available hours vary on Monday-Friday.  Starting pay:  $15/hour.  If interested, please email your resume and cover letter or request an application at hope-joyacademy@visithope.org.

A DAY AT HOPE & JOY

 

   A typical day at Hope & Joy will include fun recreation, Bible story time, music, meals, quiet time, and structured curriculum.

 

  The curriculum at Hope & Joy  is The Fireflies program from FunShine Express.  This program consists of monthly kits centered around two themes.  Your child's teacher will use activities to enhance growth and school readiness for early learners.  These activities are built around eight developmental domains: Social/Emotional, Language/Literacy, Creative Expression, Social Studies, Physical Development/Health, Science, Math, and Approaches to Learning.

WHO WE ARE

Hope & Joy Academy is a community outreach service of Hope Community Church.  It is wholly owned and governed under the direction of the church.  The daycare is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality day care services to the children of our local community.  The daycare is a Christian daycare.  We teach fundamental Christian beliefs and values to the children at our daycare.  These teachings are a part of the total curriculum.  The daycare's philosophy is that the best way to have a quality program is to hire quality people.  All teachers are qualified, have a loving concern for small children, and have a gifting for teaching.  At the academy, our teachers teach in accordance with Hope Community's faith and practice.  All children are welcome.
